Committee
All activities are student organized. This happens through committees where you learn to run branches and plan and organize events. Committees are always open to new members, so feel free to find one that interests you and reach out!
Waterpolo Committee
Polocie
The water polo committee, also better known as the Polocie, regulates the matters surrounding the water polo branch of Piranha. They ensure that the matches are scheduled, that tournaments are visited and that there is material to train. In short, the Polocie arranges that the water polo players can train, play matches and visit tournaments!
Swimming committee
Zwemcie
The Zwemcie within ZPV Piranha is dedicated to, how could it be otherwise, supporting the swimmers. Throughout the year we organize a number of fun activities to strengthen the bond between the swimmers. For example, we organize a bowl outing, the club championships or a movie night or we have a drink after training. In addition, the Zwemcie arranges all matters around the NSZKs, so that you can enjoy these beautiful weekends without any worries. Finally, the Zwemcie pays attention to whether the training goes well and whether they fit well with the wishes of the swimmers. In addition, we maintain contact with the board, in order to guarantee that bath water, trainers and equipment is always available.
Diving committee
DuikCie
The DuikCie was established as an umbrella body between the various diving committees and supporting the Diving Commissioner. The committee consists of representatives of the various diving committees: DAC, DOC and Matcie, the training coordinator and the former and current Diving Commissioner. De Duikcie discusses topics such as the compressor, training and the purchase of new material.
Rescue committee
RedCie
The Rescue Swimming Commission will take care of all the things that come with a Rescue Brigade. They take care of the competitions, provide the training, take care of the material. In short, everything needed to keep a rescue brigade running.
ICT committee
ICTcie
Do you think there is still something to be improved on the Piranha website? Or are you just interested in computer science and do you like to write programs for Piranha together with a group of enthusiasts? Then the ICT committee is really something for you!
The ICT committee arranges everything about the website and programs that the board uses, such as an alias system, mail system but also the information on the website are arranged by us. It is useful if you have a small background in programming & HTML, but also if you do not have that (and would like to learn it) you are welcome! As a committee we plan work evenings on which we work together on the website and programs, while enjoying a beer (or wine) it is not only a productive evening, but also often very gezellig!
The event committee
Dú EVC
Of course, in addition to competitions and training, Piranha also has parties and drinks. The event committee, dú EVC, organizes these parties. Piranha has a number of “standard” drinks, such as the poetsborrel (for freshman) and the mysteryguest drink (i.e. sinterklaas celebration). the batavieren race committee
BataCie
Every year the University of Twente organizes the Batavierenrace in collaboration with the Radboud University in Nijmegen. This is the largest relay race in the world and is run from Nijmegen to Enschede. Although we are water rats, we as Piranha cannot be missed. To organize this, Piranha has the Batavierenracecommissie, which ensures that everything around the Batavierenrace for Piranha is arranged, this should be thought of food / drink before, during and after the race but also the registration and the layout of the stages.

Piranha Introduction Commission
PIC
The Piranha Introduction Commission, the PIC, is a committee that has the task of recruiting new members during the Kick-in of the University of Twente and the INTRO of the Saxion. The committee can decide how they do this, but introduction training, the information position with the intro and posters sticking are part of the fixed program.
Tournament committee
TNC
The first weekend after the Kick-In, the tournament committee, better known as the TNC, is hosting the International Piranha Water Polo Tournament. At this tournament, teams come from home and abroad, and are visited by both other student associations and non student associations. The tournament lasts from Friday night to Sunday on which Saturday will be a splashy party.
The task of the TNC is therefore to ensure that teams are invited, referees are present. In addition, the TNC also ensures that a party is organized on Saturday, that there is enough food / drinks during the weekend and that there are sleeping places for the guests. In short, both during and before the tournament, the TNC has plenty to do!
Barteam
& Kioskteam
The canteen in the sports center is run by students. Piranha has several days a year that we have to man the canteen. This is done by the bar team. Part of the profits go to Piranha and that is an important source of income for the club. The Barteam consists of as many people as possible, so that members of the Barteam have a small workload.
